The beauty of Vienna covered in lace of snow is something worth seeing. Those, who have been residing in Vienna for a while, know that snow has not been part of the landscape for almost a decade. For me, however, it did not come as a surprise at all. The white silence embracing the city was a visual expression of my inner feelings. Surely the Snow Queen must have visited me in my sleep and decided to expose my thoughts for everyone to see. For a while now, I knew that I have to do the inevitable and say farewell to an old friendship. When life gives you snow, make a snowman! Nevertheless, this is not the end of my romance with Vienna.
