CONCERT: The Chainsmokers are an American DJ duo consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall. They achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song “#Selfie”, which was a top twenty single in several countries. “Don’t Let Me Down” became their first top 5 single and won the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording at the 59th Grammy Awards. The duo arrives this Saturday at Marx Hale in Vienna.

EXHIBIT: One hundred years after her death, the Belvedere is paying tribute to the painter Tina Blau in an exhibition from the series Masterpieces in Focus. The show features major works from every stage in Tina Blau’s career as well as previously unknown paintings that came to light during the research for the new catalogue raisonné of the artist’s work.

BALL: In 2017, Kursalon Vienna is celebrating its anniversary! It is the 150th birthday of “Beautiful Blue Danube” waltz, which was performed for the first time in February 1867. Therefore the program of this year’s Johann Strauss Ball will be inspired by the theme “150 years of Kursalon Vienna“.
