I have celebrated my firs St. Paddy day at Flanagan’s last year. It was crowded, even outside the pub. There was some U2 coming from the speakers, huge line for beer, but the staff was very fast efficient and friendly. I had a great time!

On 18 March 2017, it is time again. One day after the Irish holiday St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated internationally – also in Vienna. Starting with a parade going from Yppenplatz in the 16th district of Vienna, the train is organized by the Embassy of Ireland Vienna towards the Ottakringer Brewery, where free entrance is an enormous supporting program with several main themes like traditional Irish music, Irish dance, culinary, children ‘s and Much more.
